“Yanar has been taking our Parkinson’s group yoga classes for two years and they’ve been very popular with all our members. Yanar brings a fresh and very positive approach. She is concerned about each class member and asks how each participant feels at the start of the class.
The exercises are adapted for people with movement, coordination and posture difficulties. We are encouraged to stretch our capabilities, but there is no pressure to complete any challenging exercises.
Yanar will often suggest different ways to do an exercise to suit different abilities. She also takes us through visualisation, mindfulness exercises and yoga nidra, which can be very restful!
